Great News For Part Timers At HSBC

Published / Last Updated on 07/04/2002

Around 2,000 part time staff are to be compensated by HSBC because they were previously not allowed to build up pensions, as far back as 1976.  After an agreement with the Banking Union (UNIFI), HSBC will compensate current employees and those who left employment up to six months ago so the clock is ticking if you left and think you may be entitled. The Banking Union is also talking to other companies on these pension issues. If you think you have a claim, check with UNIFI.
